Front Office

Dentist in Woodinville, Elizabeth, Advanced Care DentistryHi, my name is Elizabeth. I am our Financial Coordinator and have been in dentistry for 11 years. I started my career in Wisconsin, where I grew up, as a dental assistant and moved to Seattle in 2011 where I have been helping patients at Advanced Care Dentistry. The technology and extended services we offer at Advanced Care Dentistry make this office also unique. I enjoy being a part of this team and helping patients with insurance and financial questions. When not working I love spending time with my dogs at Greenlake, my friends, reading and exploring all that the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Assistants

Dentist in Woodinville, Carol, Advanced Care DentistryHi, my name is Carol and I have worked with Dr. Marxen since 2007. I graduated from Eaton Technical in 1997 as a Dental Assistant. I love the positive atmosphere in our office and am excited to be part of such an amazing team. I appreciate and enjoy all the advancements and technology that we are able to offer our patients. One of my favorite parts of my job is watching the changing and happy smiles. When not working, I love spending time with my family and my two dogs. We love sports and play them all year long.

Dentist in Woodinville, Debbie, Advanced Care DentistryHi, my name is Debbie and I have been a part of the Advanced Care Dentistry team since 2005. I am the Hygiene Assistant. My duties include assisting the Hygiene team, Zoom! in-office whitening, managing sterilization, and assisting with restorative treatment. My favorite part of my job is that I am always moving and helping in all aspects of dentistry. The best part about working here is watching people transform and become confident and proud of their new smiles. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, riding ATVs and taking pictures.

Hygienist

Dentist in Woodinville, Shirley, Advanced Care DentistryHi, my name is Shirley. I am a Dental Hygienist, and have been a part of Dr. Marxen’s team since July 2003. I was born and grew up in Latvia and moved to the Seattle area in 1993. I have been a health care professional for over 20 years – 8 years in the nursing field and the past 12 years in dentistry. Working with Dr. Marxen introduced me to another level of dentistry available to patients. The ability to offer IV sedation opened up a great opportunity to many patients, who wanted to have healthy and beautiful teeth, but were avoiding dentists due to the fear from previous experiences. The comfort of my patients is of the utmost importance to me. I love being a team member at our clinic because we are constantly taking continuing education courses and using the newest materials and equipment to provide the best care to our patients.

Dentist in Woodinville, Annisa, Advanced Care DentistryHello, my name is Annisa. I began my career in dental hygiene in 2000, and have been with Dr. Marxen and Advanced Care Dentistry since 2004. I find dentistry to be an amazing field! Not only am I able to participate in helping others achieve overall better health, but I am also able to get to know and laugh with our patients and have a great time while working. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending all my time with my husband and our two boys.

Dentist in Woodinville, Elena, Advanced Care DentistryHello, my name is Elena. I joined our winning team in 2010 as a Dental Hygienist. I’ve had a long satifying career in health care; first, as a surgical nurse in Russia, then as a dental assistant and hygienist here, in the United States. Years of working with patients taught me patience, compassion, and empathy. My goal is to create a positive, painless, and relaxing experience for all of my patients through high quality hygiene care delivered in a gentle and caring manner. I strongly believe in prevention and education. Everybody can benefit from healthier habits and better techniques in their daily dental hygiene care.
